"Insert, Picture, From file..." closes Office2000 app w/o error msg

While in Word2000 or Excel2000, if you choose to insert a picture from file, the app simply disappears (completely closes / shuts down) without any error messages. NO CLUES! This same problem occurrs in BOTH Win2000 Pro and Win98 OS's.

What the heck is happening and how do you fix it?

Even though absolutely no error messages are displyed, this is the cause and resolution.

Uninstall the ImageStream 97 graphics filters
