"IM Server Routing Configuration In Progress" on IM???

Hi

Does anyone know what is happening when " IM Server Routing Configuration In Progress " comes up on MSN IM as if it is a message from the person you are in conversation with?

I'm concerned about my security and would like to get to the bottom of this
