I have a BCM400 v3.7 networked with several BCM50's rel 1. The people calling from the BCM400 are reporting an intermittant "HISS" when calling one of the BCM50 sites. It is not every call and not during the entire conversation. I have not been able to go on site so have not heard this first hand.

Any ideas or suggestions on where to start?

Do you have VAD enabled on the trunks? You could be hearing the 'white noise' that VAD inserts during periods of silence.

I meant voice activity detection, or silence supression. Call it what you will.
