"highlight content" removes alt text and titles from tags

I use Acrobat Pro 6. After tagging the document, I go through and add alt text to figures and titles to some major sections. Save and close. Open the document, go to tags and turn on "highlight content" in order to step through the read order. Then when I reach a tag that I added alt text to or added a title to previously, my edits disappear and the tag defaults back to no alt text or title.

Has anyone else documented this problem?
