"Fwd no answer" setup

I have a Nortel Norstar system and want to set an extension so it will ring without ever going to voicemail. I have figured out how to stop the voicemail from picking up but the phone quits ringing after four rings. Can it be set for unlimited rings?

Terminals&Sets - Press the upper right button that has lit up on your phone
Show set: ____ - Enter the extension number you want to program. i.e., 223
223:223 - Press the upper right button again
Line access - Press the lower right button
Capabilities - Upper right
Fwd no answer - Upper right
Fwd to: ____ - In your display you will see CLR, press that button to clear out the digits in the display.
Fwd to: None.

That should remove any call forwarding the phone may have. Try that first. If it is still doing it, let me know and we'll check something else. MRoberts

What you need to do is turn off the DRT to prime setting -This programming is under system programming. HOpe this helps
