Hi Guys
Have a used BCM 400, full access as nnadmin just wondering if there is a way to "format" or reinstall the BCM 400 software to a fresh state using either element manager or a set?

Thanks

You can default the system, but I think the patches will still remain. I tend to use a disk imaging program and load back in a day one config.

This explains how I do the BCM 50 systems, although it's the same for the 400 range.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

personally I would go to the reset tab under utilities and wipe out telephone there and then delete all MBx users and start from scratch that way. I would steer away from mirrioring disk if possible. Good luck

If this is 3.7 or lower on the main wizard page I think you can enable QUICK START this will do a telephony reinstall and your keycodes and patches should stay.

If it's a 4.0, why not just go into backup/restore and do a restore to factory default? When it's done, the first thing you would do is patch it current anyway. Just make sure you leave all the checkboxes checked.
