We run published applications through NFuse portal on Citrix XP. We have about 20 users. All users are connecting fine to each application(s) they have permission to access. However, about a month ago, one user went to access a published app, clicked on it and a download box came up
"Getting file information: ...nt2k&nfuse_mimeextension=.cia from mycitrix.ymcacobb.org". The download continues to run, and run and run but never completes the download. I tried updating the ICA client, but that didn't help.

This is happening only with one user, and regardless of which account you try to log on with, the same problem occurs. It only happens at that machine.

Any suggestions?

Try installing internet exlorer 5.5 with Microsoft Virtual Machine. MVM is critical when u are using citrix Nfuse java portal. Either install full ie 5.5. Default installations dn,t have MVM. If required install ica win32 client again after this. It will definetly solve your problem.

Go to the internet properties and then move to the advanced tab. Make sure there that the option "Do Not save encrypted files is not checked:. If it is remove it and hit ok. Restart all browsers that maybe running. This will not allow files from NFuse to save to disk, since NFuse encrypts them to secure password info and user info as well as session info.
