"File already in Use"

Hi,
I have a Samba setup to share Microsoft Access data tables to Windows clients, but if more than one person accesses the tables, it gives an error of "File Already in Use". I have already turned off "File Locking", but it still gives this error. Any ideas? Thanks-

When you change smb.conf file did you restart the samba daemons?
