"Failed to save schedule data into CMA." I have been getting this message whenever I upgrade a machine from VS451 to VSE7; doesn't matter if it's a server or workstation. Despite the message, the machines seem to be "taking" the upgrade and updates are still occurring flawlessly.

My own deciphering tells me that the "MA" in CMA is Mcafee AutoUpdate, but that's it. Does anyone know what this ACTUALLY means? AVCHAP?

thanks....

Why me? :)

CMA should be Common McAfee AutoUpdater. AVChap

OK, directly related follow up question. When I look at my VSE7 client in EPO and look at the Properties tab, some machines show me the following (catergories) of properties in the tree:

-System Info
-Epo Agent
-VirusScan 7.0 Enterprise
-Product Coverage Reports
-McAfee AutoUpdate 7.0

Ultimately, this is what I would like to see for ALL of my VSE7 clients, but it's not. Currently, ALL clients show at least the first three (Sys Info, Epo, VSE7) under their respective properties tabs.

For some clients, there is no McAfee AutoUpdate 7.0 listed, for others, no Product Coverage Reports, or for some NEITHER is listed. Yet despite this, they all seem to be behaving normally, applying updates and receiving policies.

Why is there a discrepency? Does this have anything to do with my ORIGINAL question in this thread?

W'sup wit dat?

Hey Hurricane! :)

It has nothing to do with the original question. Try re-installing the ePO agent. Most of the time it will get the full properties after reinstall.

If that doesn't work, refresh the console information.
