"Export to tape" is greyed out

Using Premiere5.1, and a Sony TRV30E DV camcorder, I am able to capture from the camcorder using ULEAD software but Premiere wont capture or (or importantly) export out to tape, As mentioned the "Export to tape" is greyed out, does this mean a software glitch or do I need to install any additional stuff,

any help is appreciated,

I had this same problem and what I found was if I went to export to tape and it was greyed out that all I would do is go and click anywhere on the timeline and then go back to the export to tape and then it would not be greyed out and then you could select it.
