"..exceeds mu databyes limit.." 1

Hallo All,

Quick question (I hope). I recently installed my new qmail server with vpopmail etc etc...

Today, a user was trying to send an email with three attachments, total size approx. 7 or 8 MB. He receives this error:

552 sorry, that message exceeds my databytes limit

I am guessing that this has to do with the /var/qmail/control/databytes file - currently this is set to 8000000 (six zeros). I am not very good at calculating bits to bytes to MB etc... but I assume that if I increase this file to the double (16000000) that will solve it?

Will I need to restart qmail?
