Hi,

Occasionally, some users get the message "Exceeded" on their handset when transfering calls to another user. Rang Mitel tech support and they have not come across it before, wondered if anyone else had?

Thanks.

Are the users transfering calls to users on the same or another 3300?

Need some details. what system, software release, and set types are involved here?

The system is a MXe ver 7.0 and they are using 5212 handsets and hotdesking. They have a scheduled reboot every thursday night. The problem may happen once a week with no pattern to different users. It started 3 weeks ago.
A external number dials in, a user picks it up and transfers to another user on the local system but after typing the extn number, the message appears. They have to put the handset down and press the line key to get the call back. Dialling the extn internally is fine once the call has hung up.

Customer just informed me the display says "Number Exceeded" after dialling the users extn number.

Sounds like a digit length restriction. What's listed in the Maximum Dialed Digits form for the COR of the trunk & phone involved here?
