I have an application that is up and running. I had a problem with dll's on the user machine's installation so I decided to recreated the installation disks.

When using the Setup Wizard this time, I'm getting "Error generating CAB file(s). Error Code 3" which is "The system cannot find the path specified." It's failing after creating the first CAB file.

When I originally created them last month, it worked fine. No changes have been made to the original program. Any ideas?

I get some random errors with the setup wizard too. I have never been able to figure out why. Typically I can shutdown VFP reboot and retry it successfully.

GOOD LUCK!

This is persistent error- haven't figured a way around or its cause for two days. Anybody else?

Hi Dros,

OK. This SWAG comes in from way out in left field.

Go into your VFP directory and delete the DISTRIB subdirectory. (NOT DISTRIB.SRC)

Run the setup wizard and answer yes when prompted to recreate the DISTRIB directory. Jon Hawkins
