when running a backup from on 98pc i have a mapped drive that i also backup on another 98 pc. Now the report file tells me that 10 (of the 1500 or so) files did not verify. I can copy them to another disk fine and there identical. All the files that i can`t backup are in the same directory and only half of them are giving me this problem. The otheres in the directory copy and verify fine. This seems very strange to me since everything else on that mapped drive does fine. any suggestions?

SOMETHING has changed on the file attributes, beit the date, size, last accessed, etc. IF you are going to have your backups jobs verify after completion, it would be wise to make absolutely sure that none of your users or processes are accessing the systems that are being backed up for the duration. Otherwise, that is the error you will receive. ________
