The subject line above is a guess where Outlook is concerned.
I've seen this problem decribed elsewhere, but no-one seems to have much info or a cure for it.
The problem is minor but annoying.
We use Windows XP Pro with Outlook 2002 being our Contact Manager/Email application. At various intermittent times during the day the "Enter Network Password" dialogue box pops up. Simply clicking on OK solves the problem temporarily. I'm not always at the desk to see it and answer, so of course this leads to error messages from our ISP's email server along the lines of our connection being interrupted or timing out. So if I don't see the dialogue box it can block Outlook from checking email on a regular interval. It's not an earthshaking problem, but if anyone knows a cure or a workaround (other than the obvious one of using something besides Outlook!) I would appreciate hearing about it.
