I (mistakenly) installed PhotoShop CS2 before uninstalling CS. So now when I right-click a photo in My Pictures, it still offers menu to "Edit with Photoshop", not Photoshop CS2. the "Send To..." DOES show CS2 however.
How can I set "Edit with PhotoShop" to say "Edit with Photoshop CS2" ? I'm sure there's a list where this menu is populated from somewhere. Maybe in registry.
I'd like to avoid uninstalling both, and reinstalling CS2 if I can. But if that's recommended, then so be it.

Open Windows Explorer, into any folder, and click on Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types , look for the JPG and/or JPEG
extensions in the list select it and click the Advanced button at the bottom.

Click on the Action you want to change, in your case Edit With... and click on the Edit button to one side.

Select The browse button and point to wherever you installed Photoshop CS2 and click o.k. O.k your way out and now it should open with Photoshop CS2.

Thanks!
I did the Explorer thing with no problem.
Now I can delete old CS and carry on with CS2.

Glad I could help.
