Hi!

Got a real annoying one!

The setup is VFP8 front-ended application linking via ODBC 'Native Client' to a locally installed SQL 2005 Express database.

All woas working fine until last week! No I am geting the error:

Connectivity error: Unable to retrieve specific error information. Driver is probably out of resources.

...when trying to insert a record in a table in the DB. It works fine on other machines with similar setup, and on my machine connecting to the same DB but on a SQL Server instance on a remote server.

I need a local setup due the fact I do not have constant access to the remote server.

Nothing (that I am aware of) has been installed or changed on my computer for about 12 months now. I have about 50Gb free disk space, 2Gb RAM, so I am baffled!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

TIA
Neil

Hi Dave!

I had already come across those pages you have found, and tried the Aynchronous stuff (no difference) and gave my SQL account user all the permissions, and again, no difference.

Definately pulling my hair out over this one!
