I have seen several extensions for a web page (i.e. .asp, .aspx, .html, etc.) and have recently come across the .dll extension. It is interesting in that it takes parameters from the page and seems to pass them to the server, but utilizes all of its functions client-side. Does anybody have any idea how that works?

By using lowerlevel (ISAPI) Coding you will write the whole functionlity (which we write in asp) in a c++ and make them as a dll. for more details see links on ISAPI programming M.Krishna Reddy
