I have been using a good desktop news ticker program called, wisely, "Desktop News"(.com). It is docked at the top of my desktop and scrolls headlines all day long, refreshing hourly. Suddenly, the scrolling began to slow to a crawl, then stop, then go black. I would eventually get the following notice:
Dtn

So I contacted Desktop News.com tech support, got an autoreply confirming receipt of my email, and I haven't heard from them since. That was two weeks ago. So I uninstalled the current version, got the latest version, and after 5 minutes, the exact same thing happened and I got this new alert:

SO...I uninstalled that version, too. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on here, and what I can do to fix it?
Thanks in advance,
