Other than a UFL, is there any way to duplicate the 'Custom function' functionality of more recent versions of CR in CR7?

I have a handful of formulas that I use in practically every report I write. None of them are terribly complicated, but it is really a pain to have to copy & paste them from one report to another.

I'm not a programmer (although I can write some *simple* VBA code), so if possible I'd like to avoid the UFL route. If that's the only way to do this, is there someplace where I can find a very basic tutorial?

Thanks!

I used to have a formula Bible. Basically, a Word document that contained every formula I ever thought I'd reuse. I still had to cut-and-paste, but I didn't have to remember which reports had which formulas.
