=======================

We have a weekly scheduled RPT that exports to PDF and generates an e-mail via SMTP. It has been running fine for months, then failed suddenly with the following error...

Server Used: servername.reportjobserver
Error Message: Error in File C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\procSched\servername.reportjobserver\~tmp13944de1b35e268.rpt: Error detected by export DLL:

I thought this might be an issue with the "Create bookmarks from group tree" option in the FORMAT tab of the SCHEDULE page, because I have seen this before when posting a CR-9 report into our BOE-XI environment - then scheduling with that option checked.

It ran OK with the "Create bookmarks from group tree" option turned-off, so I compared this week's PDF to the one that ran OK on July 31st.

July 31st ran OK with the "Create bookmarks from group tree" option turned on...but this week (Aug. 07) it failed.

I think it is because this week had 0 (zero) records, and therefore NO GROUPS.

Maybe the "Create bookmarks from group tree" option doesn't know what to do when there are no Groups.

Anyone seen this before...? Can you confirm my assumptions - before I call Bangalore to report this to BOBJ...?

Thanks in Advance for the help.

BOBJ Support confirmed that this is a known bug.

Fixed in SP-2, not in CHF-19.
