When trying to update records, users are getting the error "Could Not Update; Currently Locked". Can anyone please tell me how this can be handled. I dont want the users to get this error and also the records to be saved correctly.

In order for anyone here to help you you're going to have to provide more information!

Is this a stand-alone database or is it for multiple users?

If the latter, is the database split, as it should be, with the back end, containing the tables/data, on a server and a copy of the front end, with forms, queries, reports, etc, on each user's PC?

What version of Access are you using?

Do you have any type of security set up?

Under Tools - Options - Advanced, what is Record Locking aet at?

Split database.
Version - 2003
Record locking is "No Locks" in Form as well as Advanced tab.
Can you please explain what do you mean by Security. I am quite new to Access.
There is a table that holds the security for all the users.
