Hi,
I've just started getting the error message "Could not save as [filename] because the file name was not valid" using PS7 on MacOS X 10.1.
This happens only occasionally, to both new files on their first save, and also re-opened files when re-saving. Changing the filename doesn't make any difference.
As far as I can tell this is only affecting one partition on my hard drive, as I can save the same files on other partitions - but unhelpfully it's my 'current work' partition that's affected. The partition has more than sufficient space to save the files, and I've only had the problem in photoshop.
Anyone know if this is a photoshop issues or a MacOS issue, and what to do about it? - it's driving me nuts!
Cheers,
Tom
