"Copy protection" error playing DVD movie in XP

Asus mainboard P4S533-MX SiS chipset
XP Home SP1
Cyberlink Power DVD

I get an intermittent error when playing movies in XP with the above spec:

Error 80900008, an unexpected copy protection error has occured. Unable to play disc.

I changed the disc, drive and reinstalled Windows. The problem still appears but sometimes the movie plays OK.

Upgrade your version of PowerDVD. This is a known problem. Sometimes just a re-install will do it.
