"Contacts" restore on arcserve for exchange 5.5 1

A user deleted 100 of his contacts out of his Mailbox, and he did not notice for about a week.
So if I restore using the bricklevel backups in Arcserve for Exchange 5.5, will I have to restore his entire mailbox therefore deleting his messages for the last week?
Is there anyway around this like creating a "dummy" mailbox and restoring the files from there?

You can create any mailbox name you desire and restore to it, the bricks level in that respect is like any other backup and restore...it doesn't necessarily have to go back to the same named place it came from. I usually restore it to a dummy, add the dummy to the user's Outlook profile and let them drag and drop what they want back.
