"concat" turns into "New Expression"

Hi. When I create a report in Cognos Impromptu 7.0 I am given the option of using the concat database function (linking to Microsoft SQL Server 2000). I sent my report to be published to our UpFront administrator. When our admin pulls op the report my concat function is replaces with a “New Expression”. . .Anyone ever experience anything similar?

"New Expression" means that it can not resolve the connection from the report to the catalog. Often caused by catalog or database changes.
