Hi all the people,
I have to prepare a scenario which has to be redundant. This scenario has a minimum of 2 WindowsNT-2000 clients and a server with Windows2000.
These clients and server have 2 NICs and I want to have one "active" NIC and the other one in standby, waiting the failure of the first NIC.
I think I have found the drivers for the Intel NICs, but another problem I have with clients is that one of the NICs is Intel based and the other one is Realtek8029 and there would maybe are compatibility problems. In server, we have 2 realtek8139 NICs.
Well, the question is : exists any driver that performs this "standby action" between the NICs in clients and server? Any help would be truly appreciated.
Best regards.
