"change system programming port to extension before restoring" message showing up when trying to restore data on Legend 7.0 CKE4 processor. what is this message telling me? never seen it before........help!

Is the data you are restoring from a different processor or release. You can only restore from same release programming from a flash memory card. Your only option if it is a different release is to restore to a processor with same release software as the memory card, use Winspm to save, then convert, then restore to new processor. Hope this helps.
 
This message means that what ever extension you are using to program the system is not in the first port on the first mlx card, you need to look at the original program port and before doing a restore you have to change the program port to that port. before restoring trace the jack back or better yet go into maintanance-ports-station-status and see what slot and port your program extension is using then when you put the new proc in go into prgramming and change the new board to that port before restore.
