"Cannot start the report" - Error

Hi,

I have a user who when tring to run the Aged Payables Report in A/P Transaction Reports gets the following error:

Description System Error

Cannot Start the report, Write down message, exit Accpac and Windows. Restart and retry the operation. For more info see Appendix A in the system Manager User Guide.

Code: 1.2422.126

When the same report runs successfully when I log in as administrator on the same computer.. So far, I have narrowed it down to windows file structure security are different for Administrator and the user. But I am confused as to where is it actually causing the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Accpac versions?
Windows OS?

The AP aged payables report creates a file in the Windows TEMP folder, so it may be that the user does not have sufficient rights to create files in the TEMP folder.

Accpac version is 5.0A
Windows OS is Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Service Pack 1

The user has full access to the Windows/Temp folder... I check so by creating a file and deleting a file from the server

There was a hotfix for that problem, but the version is so old that the hotfix is no longer available on the Accpac website.
