"Cannot load program " - error

Hi All
I am trying to install a software in AIX and I am struck with an error. When I checked the log files I came out with the following error message

0509-152 Member libz.so.1 is not found in archive
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program /usr/bin/rpm because of the following errors:
0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/freeware/lib/librpm.so


I am new to AIX. May I request you to kindly throw some light on this.

From the error it looks like the software is a Linux package not an AIX bundle.
