"cannot install printer" and then "Operation could not be complet

Hi all. Having an issue install printers (either local or Network) on a user's PC. I get the errors "Cannot install Printer" and then "Operation could not be completed." I've restarted the print spooler several times, to no avail. I've tried removing the drivers from the system, but that didn't work either. He's got full admin rights and such... I'm stumped.

Uh,,,what printer? Using installation CD's? Could be corrupt drivers. Turn off firewalls, and virus scanners.

actually, I found the problem late yesterday. It was a corrupt DLL that I found after doing sfc /scannow.
