Customer has had high speed DSL installed. All clients (R5) can replicate through LAN to remote Domino Server, except 2 Compaq laptops both using Xircom PCMCIA NICs. If the NIC is disabled the client can use a dial-up connection to the Internet and replicate w/o problem. Think the problem may relate to MRU setting. Does this sound familiar to anyone.

Thaks for any help.

When the Lotus Notes client using DUL to connect to the server, you should set up connection for the computers. Just open the local address book go to Connections. Add Connection,Connection type "LAN", Use LAN port TCPIP. Fill up the server name and IP address is important. I just set up a couple of Laptops. each Laptop connect to three severs then they need set up Locations as well, because when they do the replication, they must find correct server locations.
When you finished the setting, try a couple of time it will work.
Good Luck! [sig][/sig]
