I'm getting the following error message in Veritas 9.1: "cannot create a backup-to-disk folder using the specified path because another backup-to-disk is already using that path."

I know that you can just change the path/name and make the backups go to a new folder so that there isn't a problem. However, I want to know if there is a way to actually fix the issue so the old name can continue to be used.

When I try with the old name, it gives that message, yet it still creates the folder in the backup file. Even if I delete it and try again, it still tells me the same thing and recreates it anyway.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? Thank you!
