Browse for Folder doesn't show "my network places" anymore.

Anything created using "add network location" to the "computer" in windows explorer also does not show up; only mapped network drives show up.

Is there a way to make these "network locations" show up in the browse for folder dialog box or even make "Favorites" appear in there?

Thanks

If you open up the Network Sharing Center and run the troubleshooter does that correct the situation?

What about Open, and Save As, do those windows show Network and Favorites?

Can you see either location from "Safe Mode with Networking"

If so, try this.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If not, try testing from another user account.

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right-click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking. Try it first by not checking either box (this will run it in a Read-only mode) to see if it flags any hard drive or file problems. If it does, restart it by ticking both boxes, and rerun it to allow it to attempt to fix any found problems.
