I have a Rockwell soft56 PCI internal modem. My system often (sometimes 6 times a day) crashes, either as I just press "Send" in Outlook express or just as a download from the web has completed producing a "blue screen" -fatal program error. This results in either losing the email that I was sending or the program I had just finished downloading. I am speculating on possible causes at the moment. Does this fault sound familiar? Could it be the modem or the drivers. Its plugged into an Intel CA810 motherboard.

Thanks Ash

It sounds like the modem drivers. It happened to me before.
on the back of the modem is an FCC ID Number. do a search on the net for that number and it should point you to updated drivers.
