I have been trying to open up a document I had recently worked on. Each time I try to open it, either by clicking on it's icon, or going through "open" in the file menu I get an error message stating: "Cannot open file - Internal error: bad table index"

Have an older edition of this file saved, but have a day's work of editing and additions in the new one.

Also, recently did a clean install with OS 9.0 and was running 9.2 earlier.

Any help to open this file would be appreciated!

Hello,
Usually when you receive this error there is some kind of corruption starting some where in the doc. You are lucky in that you are on a mac and have a higher chance of saving the file.
Follow the link below to Adobe's doc to try and open the file.
IF you get the file open do the following...
Save as under a new name.
Do not open the bad file any more for it will corrupt the new file you get open.
Good luck

Thank you ikonpro...downloaded the recommendations from Adobe and will give them a try along with yours.

ikonpro or other helper,

The solutions recommended for this fix all involve having an open copy of the file, which I cannot do. Any other recommendations out there.

Thank you!
