Hi All,
I have a Partner ACS Version 1 system. (Yes I know it's old :) It currently has four analog lines coming into it. I'd like to add a fifth line that could be used by employees as kind of a backdoor into the office. When they call this line, I'd like the auto attendant to answer so that they can either check their voicemail or just transfer to an extension without talking to the receptionist. Is this possible? How would I go about it?
Thanks!
-Jay

Yes, program the line to the Auto Attendant, but set it for NO ring at any phone that will also have a line apperance and delayed ring at your operator's extension (in case a call comes in and all the voice mail ports are in use and can't answer.) If you upgrade to the latest release of ACS, you can set the number of rings for this new line differently from the others.
