Hi,
I recently upgraded my OS from win98 to win2K. A colleague of mine was using the PC and he claims it got frozen so he did put it off.
Now when I try to boot my PC, it first tries to boot to windows 98 and then I get this message:
"You are using automatically generated configuration files. Your original configuration files have been renamed Config.upg and Autoexec.upg and are located in the C:\MSDOS7 directory."

I've also tried going to safe mode but there too I got this message:
"The following file is corrupted or missing
C:\MSDOS7\DBLBUFF.sys"

Now the last thing I ever expected was to end up in win98.

I've read about this problem at but it seems it doesn't help much as I can't boot to windows.

What should I do to solve this problem?
