I get the following error when installing Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition (NAVCE) 7.6 on NT4 Workstation, Symantec web support pages says that this is due to lack of harddisk space on pc, but i have over 1GB free and 128mb Ram. Anyone come across this type of error before.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure your logged on with administrative rights and the the folder that your installing to does not have a size limit set.

This happens when logged in as admin or logged off, this only happens when we try a remote install from the server to the client. I have re-set all permissions to fullcontrol on client pc and still the same issue. There are no quote set at all. The server sends the files to the client and when the install tries to run i get the Error: "25001: Memory Scan Failed"

Have you tried a safe mode boot with network support on the client machine and then tried loading it? Chuck

Check

Tried a hardware profile with just network support, still getting same issue.

Re-reading your earlier message it sounds like your attempting to install to the client from the server. Have you attempted to install from the client? <network>:\nav\clt-inst\win32\setup.exe That should be the default path. Chuck

What we are trying to do is install this from the server to approx 1000+ clients, installing manually its ok, but when you try and send from the server to the pc you get the error, just one other not on win2k it works no problem. I have ad inoculan on the systems before and have un-installed inoculan.

Seems that ZAK is the problem, Symatec website has a note that Norton AntiVirus Corporat will have problems installing with ZAK.
