Hi,

i'm setting up a cluster with 2 nodes, my quorum disk is located on another pc. We're using iscsi and snapdrive software to connect to the disk.

Disk has been created and mounted on node1 as dedicated drive. The setup from the clusteradmin had ended and is succesful, the first node is up and running with the disk through snapdrive as quorum disk.

When i try to setup the second node, i need to connect the disk before starting the clusteradmin. I'm giving the pad to the disk, choosing the shared option (dedicated is no longer available)and when i type de name of the cluster i get an error message: "Unable to locate a virtual disk to perform requested operation".

Normally i should recieve a message like this: "unable to retrieve a list of virtual disk snapshots" ....

Someone knows's what i'm doing wrong ? or some advice ?
thx in advantage

I'd start with the vss update.

Beyond that, I'd recommend reading up on the support boundaries. You'll likely need to get your support from netapp.

My experience has been that iscsi over a common network switch can't handle the time requirements of some apps.
