QUIT Word from Access using VBA

Hi

I have an app that generates a WORD doc, prints and quits using VBA from Access.

However, the quit statement obviously follows the print command, but a dialog appears advising that I am quitting Word before the document has been sent to the print manager.

I know I can use the timer event and guess the number of seconds, but what I really want to do is test that the document has been 'printed' before issuing the quit command.

Can anyone help? Why did kamikazi pilots wear helmets?

You could try putting a

DoEvents

between the code that does teh export and the code that closes Access?
