hi there,

I'm new to premiere... I'm a flash kiddo...
I created a movie in premiere, and now I want to export it to a format that all computers can read (can also be mac and pc version) without needing extra software...

something like a .exe on pc...
does quicktime have something like that? or another app...?
or are there special export options for that?

friendly greetings
robin

You might be better off converting your Premiere movie (AVI?) to a SWF file. There are applications out there like Wildform Flix that can do that. Then once it is a SWF file, well you know what to do to get a projector from that. Trying to find a video codec and format that 'fits all' is not an easy thing to do unless you are dealing only with one platform.

You know, robin, Quicktime's pretty universal. MPG is, too.

But I'll tell you a secret. If you want to make a movie that can be viewed on any browser, that doesn't require a plug-in or the latest-version-of anything and you don't care if there's no sound, then make it an animated GIF.

A simple and weird solution that actually works!

Cheers,
