The Quicktime movies in my Director presentation won't play when I create the projector. I have removed all internal movie Xtras from each Director movie as well as the projector file. I have then created an Xtras folder. Which Xtras should I place in the Xtras folder and what is the ideal method to do so? The projector plays the Quicktimes without any problems on my system and my friends system (Pentium III's), these both have Director 7 and Quicktime installed, but they will not play on older Windows systems (486 & Pentium II)which have niether Director or Quicktime. I have tried many combinations and I'm going nuts... Can any one help?

don't remove your xtras, include them in the projector.

Quicktime movies require quicktime to be installed. If you try to run them on a machine without quicktime you should just get a red box with a cross through it. No quicktime, no play, no exceptions.

Thanks Horrid,
I have noticed a few 'threads' in this forum regarding projectors that detect Quicktime. Can you tell me the best method of achieving this and can you also advise me on the best xtras configuration (i.e. xtras within a movie and/or a projector vs. xtras placed in an external folder - and which basic xtras are needed.). As you can see 'Xtras' are not my strong point...Thanks again for your quick reply...
