Quicktime plugin

Hi

I have done a presenation in Director 7 that includes quicktime vr videos.

I would like it if possible to auto-detect if the users computer (PC based)
has quicktime installed if not then to launch a installer that is on the cd
to install quicktime or to display a notice on how to install quicktime.

Is this possible and is so how can this be done??
