I have downloaded and installed Quicktime 7 for the umpteenth time. When I try and open it (either via the installed icon or the filename itself in Windows Explorer), the program won't open, but the Quicktime icon appears in the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and clicking this doesn't open the program either. Am I missing a trick here? Help. please!

On rare occasions, I've had a program open outside the visible desktop. I don't have Vista but if it is the same as Win7, hover the mouse over the taskbar icon, let the box open and right-click the box, click move, hit an arrow key, and move the mouse around to see if the program appears on the screen. I remember having to do that on XP a couple times as well.

Brilliant! Thanks IndianaSkinny (nice name!) It works!
