I'm trying to read a quicktime export on a pc, originally sourced as a quicktime export from Macromedia Director 8.0 on a Mac platform. There's basically no way I can read these files in terms of opening them in Quicktime or Quicktime Pro; the only way I've been able to successfully process them (the final destination for these files is an Avid Editing Application) is to use a trial pc based version of Director for Windows, reading from the original project, and export to quicktime from there.
Is this an issue with file corruption or some kind of weird cross platform issue? Any insight would be much appreciated.
