Hi, sorry if this sounds like a silly noobie question, but it is puzzling me.
My colleague compressed an animation we did as a quicktime movie, and in the output module settings, he told me he selected MPEG-4 as the compression option.
I looked on my own compression drop down list in the "compression settings" window and did not see MPEG-4 listed as an option, yet he says he has that option available for his install of After Effects 6.0. (I am also using 6.0) All of my quicktime software for my quicktime player is up to date and includes MPEG-4, yet that option is still not available to me as a compression for rendering as a quicktime movie! What do I need to do to remedy this? Do I need to install some sort of after effects plug in that will add this compression option for me?
I also posted in the adobe online forum, but nobody has answered it yet, so I thought I would try elsewhere too.
