Quicktime / AVI Movies

Hello

Why is is that I can drag AVI Movies straight onto my stage, and they work fine... however with Quicktime movies they just appear as the Quicktime.mov icon.

I know you can run Quicktime movies succesfuly - just not sure how to in this instance.

sounds like when you imported it, it wasnt the right version, format etc to begin with. If its an avi, you cant bring it in as a quicktime
