Thanks very much for your help Horrid,
I have noticed a few 'threads' in this forum regarding projectors that detect Quicktime. Can you tell me the best method of achieving this and can you also advise me on the best xtras configuration (i.e. xtras within a movie and/or a projector vs. xtras placed in an external folder - and which basic xtras are needed.). As you can see 'Xtras' are not my strong point...Thanks again for your quick reply...

Sorry for the slow reply..major project about to go out the door..haven't event had a lunch break for the past week.

For the xtras I have found that director will automatically include the basic set for you in your projector. Any more you use you may need to add yourself. Usually if you import something that needs an xtra (eg animated gif) Director will add it automatically for you. 3rd party xtras are the only ones you are likely to need to add yourself. If its for a shockwave project I am not the man to ask, I have no idea about the best way to do xtras online.

I'll get back to you on the quicktime detection. I think its time to write a faq. Its isn't hard but I need to collate all my notes and write it in a way that people can understand.
