QuickReports and QRRTFFilter

Need to know how to export quickreport to word doc using the rtffilter. I have the rtffilter on the report, what I do now is preview the report then save as .doc which works fine, but would like to be able to do it in code without having to preview report. Can this be done. I have found several resources on how to do html and ascii but not for rtf.
